Title IX & Nondiscrimination

"The Noble Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, veteran status, or gender."

The Noble Board of Education is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in relation to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, alienage, handicap, or veteran status. This policy prevails in all matters concerning staff, events, students, the public, employment, admissions, financial aid, educational programs and services, facilities access, and individuals, companies, and firms with whom the board does business.

Compliance Coordinators

The following employees have been designated to handle inquiries and complaints regarding the district's nondiscrimination policies:

Dr. Seth Meier

Section 504 / ADA Coordinator

smeier@nobleps.com  ·  (405) 872-3452
111 S. 4th St, Noble, OK 73068

For concerns involving disability access, accommodations, and discrimination on the basis of disability. See also the district's Accessibility page.

Raising a Concern

Students and families: the board expressly encourages students who experience sexual harassment — or their parents — to come forward. Report to any administrator or teacher (if that person is the alleged offender, report to the next level of administration or any responsible adult). The employee receiving the report notifies the Title IX Coordinator, who will promptly contact the student to discuss supportive measures and explain the formal complaint process.

Employees: report concerns to the appropriate administrator; if your direct supervisor is the alleged offender, report to the next level — and if the concern involves the superintendent, to the board president.

Every attempt is made to maintain confidentiality, and no reprisals or retaliation will be allowed to occur as a result of the good faith reporting of charges of sexual harassment. Retaliation for exercising Title IX rights is itself a policy violation.

Board Policies & Report Forms

The full policies below govern how reports are investigated and resolved — including the district's formal Title IX grievance procedure, written notice requirements, appeals, and recordkeeping. Policy FB contains the district's formal Title IX grievance procedure.
