Mrs. Katelynn Walker believes the middle school years are some of the most important in a student's educational journey. It's a time when students are discovering who they are, building confidence, and laying the foundation for their future. As Assistant Principal at Curtis Inge Middle School, she is passionate about creating a school environment where every student feels known, supported, and challenged to grow. Her goal is to help students develop not only academically, but also in the confidence, character, and skills they'll carry with them into high school and beyond.
Mrs. Walker began her career in education with Tahlequah Public Schools before finding her long-term home with Noble Public Schools. Over the past 11 years, she has served students as both a high school English teacher and now as an administrator. Along the way, she also served as a class sponsor, led the school technology committee, and chaired the fellowship committee before transitioning into school leadership.
Her favorite part of being an assistant principal is the opportunity to truly get to know students and invest in their journey during the three years they spend at Curtis Inge Middle School. She values building meaningful relationships with families and loves that those connections often continue long after students leave middle school, allowing her to celebrate their accomplishments and milestones for years to come.
Outside of school, Mrs. Walker enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. Whether they're attending concerts, spending a day at the lake, cheering at sporting events, or making memories with family and friends, she treasures every opportunity to be together.
Mrs. Walker is grateful to be part of the Curtis Inge community and looks forward to partnering with students and families to make every middle school year one of growth, success, and lasting memories.
