Will Broom
Local small business owner, husband, parent, and active member of the Noble community. Appointed to the Noble Board of Education in August 2024.
Will Broom was born and raised in Norman. He worked as a Millwright out of Union Local 329 in Oklahoma City while earning a trade degree from Moore Norman Technology Center in 1998. He graduated with an associate’s degree from Oklahoma City Community College in 1999. He attended the University of Oklahoma, foregoing completion of his degree to begin a career at Lormar Reclamation Service.
Will married his wife Annie in 2002. In 2004, Will and Annie purchased Lormar, the family business they continue to own and operate today. They preferred the smaller town feel and upbringing over the large number of schools and students in Norman, moving their home and business into the district in 2006. Their two children attend Noble Public Schools. Will has coached Youth Football, Softball, and Baseball, along with serving in various capacities on youth boards and multiple terms as a league officer since 2004.
Will has traveled to a variety of manufacturing, industrial, military, and power generation sites across the country. These experiences, especially with commercial construction and government contracting, bring experience to the board as the district encounters unprecedented population growth and further looming facility expansion. Will is a strong supporter of both college education and trade degrees. His priority as a member of the Board is maintaining and improving the opportunities available to all children in Noble Public Schools.
