We're Here for You
Middle school is a lot — new classes, new friendships, new pressures, and a lot of growing up in three short years. Our counselors are here for all of it. Whether it's a schedule question, a friendship problem, a rough week, or something bigger, our door is open to every student and every family.
Meet Your Counselors
How to Get Help
Students: Come See Us When…
- A class is getting hard and you're not sure what to do
- There's a problem with friends — or someone is being unkind to you or someone else
- You're feeling stressed, worried, or overwhelmed
- Something is going on at home you want to talk about
- You just need someone to listen
No problem is too small. Ask your teacher for a pass, stop by the front office, or have a parent email us to set up a time.
Parents: How We Can Help
- Schedule questions and course placement
- Academic support when grades slip
- Check-ins when your student is struggling socially or emotionally
- State testing information and accommodations questions
- Transitions — from Pioneer into 6th grade, and from 8th grade into Noble High School
- Connections to outside resources when a family needs more support
Email is the fastest way to reach us; we'll set up a call or meeting from there.
Our Approach
The CIMS counseling program follows the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model and meets the Oklahoma State Department of Education's school counselor competencies. In practice, that means we support the whole student — academic, career, and personal/social development — and work in partnership with teachers, families, and the community so every student finishes middle school ready for what's next.
Resources for Families
