CIMS Teacher Appreciation Week

Happy Thursday CIMS Families! April Felkins is coordinating Teacher Appreciation Week for CIMS on behalf of CIMS parents. She needs your help! 🍎 Teacher Appreciation Week: Monday Kickoff! 🍏
The day has finally come to celebrate our incredible teachers! If you have claimed a spot on the sign-ups for Monday, please keep these important details in mind:
⏰ Arrival Time: Please ensure all items arrive NO LATER than 10:00 AM. This is vital so we can have everything set up and ready before the first round of staff hits the buffet line.
🥔 Potato Bar Menu: We are excited to share that The Noble Smokin' Joe's BBQ has generously donated pulled pork for our potato bar! We will also be serving a fresh salad and homemade chili.
🍲 Crock Pot Info: If you are helping with the chili, your crock pots will be cleaned and ready for pickup (or to be sent home with your child) by 2:00 PM each day.
Note: We have a designated area in the faculty "kitchen" for the week. If you can’t make it by 2:00 PM, they will be available the following day at the same time.
📦 Drop-Off: For convenience, your children can drop items off at the front door/main office each morning.

Tuesday’s theme is Rex’s Tex-Mex, and we’re serving up a full spread of walking tacos, nachos, and soft/corn tacos with all the fixings!
Here is what you need to know:
The Mains: I will be providing all the ground beef and the queso (since it’s always a crowd favorite!).
What We Still Need: We are looking for some shredded chicken and a few other sides/toppings to round out the bar. Please check the Signup Genius to see where you can plug in!
Updates: I’ll be keeping a close eye on our supplies. If we run low on anything or need last-minute additions, I’ll update the list and post an announcement here to let you all know.

Drop-off: Items should arrive by 10:00 AM.
Pickup: Cleaned dishes/crock pots will be ready by 2:00 PM in our designated faculty kitchen area.
