Enrollment

Welcome to the Bear family! We’re so glad you’re joining us. Enrolling a new student takes one online pre-registration, a parent account, and a few documents — here’s the whole process, step by step. And if you’d rather do it in person, our Enrollment Center is happy to help. Live outside the district? See Transfer Students below.

Already a Noble student? Returning students are not automatically enrolled for the next school year. Please complete the annual update in PowerSchool each year.

How Enrollment Works

  1. Pre-Register Online

Complete the Step 0: Pre-Registration form for each student new to Noble Public Schools.

  2. Watch Your Email

Once your pre-registration is approved, you’ll receive an email with your student’s Access ID and password. Please allow up to two school days for processing.

  3. Create Your PowerSchool Parent Account

Go to powerschool.nobleps, create your parent account using the Access ID from your email, and log in.

  4. Complete the Enrollment Forms

Inside your parent account, work through New Student Enrollment Steps 1–8:

    • Step 1: Student Demographics
    • Step 2: Previous School Enrollment
    • Step 3: Release of Information
    • Step 4: Contacts
    • Step 5: Address
    • Step 6: Transportation
    • Step 7: Health & Medical Authorizations
    • Step 8: Permissions & Agreements
  5. Turn In Your Documents

Submit the required documents digitally through the enrollment forms, or bring them to the Enrollment Center at 401 E. Cherry Street. Your student’s enrollment is complete once we have everything on the checklist below.

Document Checklist

Gather these before you start and enrollment goes twice as fast:

Every Family Needs

  • Birth certificate
  • Current immunization records — or a signed immunization exemption form
  • Valid driver’s license or photo ID for both parents/guardians
  • Proof of residence (a utility bill from the last 30 days)

If It Applies to Your Family

  • Custody papers
  • Indian Student Eligibility Certification (ED-506) and CDIB card
  • Special Education Reimbursement Form
  • Doctor’s note for food allergies
  • Medication Request & Release Form (in person)
  • Notarized Power of Attorney (in person)
  • High school transcript (high school students)

Transfer Students

Live outside the Noble Public Schools district? Your student may still be able to become a Bear through Oklahoma’s student transfer process. Here’s how it works:

  1. Check the District Boundaries

First, confirm whether your address falls inside or outside the Noble Public Schools district. View our boundaries on the Google Earth District Map or the Noble School District Map Image. If you live inside the district, no transfer is needed — just follow the enrollment steps above.

  2. Apply Through the OSDE

Students outside of the Noble Public Schools district may apply for a Student Transfer. All transfer applications must be submitted online through the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE). Open transfer applications for the next school year may be submitted beginning June 1.

  3. District Review

The district reviews transfer applications based on available capacity in your student’s grade level; under Oklahoma law, a student’s discipline and attendance history may also be considered. You’ll be notified of the decision.

  4. Enroll Like Any New Bear

Once your transfer is approved, complete the new-student enrollment steps at the top of this page — pre-registration, PowerSchool forms, and the document checklist.

A note for student-athletes: transferring schools can affect athletic eligibility under OSSAA rules — check with our athletic department before finalizing a transfer. Questions about transfers? The Enrollment Center at (405) 872-5690 is happy to help.

Transfer Denial Appeals

If your transfer request has been denied, you may request that the Superintendent and/or designee reconsider this decision. In order to request reconsideration of a denied transfer, you must:

  1. Notify the District Within 10 Working Days

Within ten (10) working days of receiving your letter and/or notification from the Oklahoma State Department of Education, notify the Noble Public School District by completing and submitting the Student Transfer Denial Appeal Form that you want the Superintendent and/or designee to review the denial of your transfer request.

  2. Explain Your Appeal

Provide as much detail as possible regarding your appeal.

  3. Attach Supporting Documentation

If you have any additional supporting documentation you would like to submit, you may upload it at the end of the form. You will receive an email confirmation upon successful submission of the form.

Common Questions

My child already attends Noble. Do I need to do anything?

Yes — returning students are not automatically enrolled for the next school year. Please complete the annual update in PowerSchool each year. The pre-registration steps above are only for students new to the district.

We live outside the district. Can my student attend Noble?

Possibly! Students living outside our boundaries may apply for a transfer through the Oklahoma State Department of Education — see the Transfer Students section above. Open transfer applications for the next school year may be submitted beginning June 1.

Our transfer request was denied. Can we appeal?

Yes — you may ask the Superintendent and/or designee to reconsider. The request must be made within ten (10) working days of your OSDE notification, using the appeal form in the Transfer Denial Appeals section above.

How long does pre-registration approval take?

Please allow up to two school days. Watch your email — your student’s Access ID and password will arrive once pre-registration is approved.

Can I complete everything online?

Almost everything. The forms and most documents can be submitted digitally through PowerSchool. A few items — like a notarized Power of Attorney or a Medication Request & Release Form — need to be brought in person to the Enrollment Center.

What if I need help or don’t have internet access?

Come see us! The Enrollment Center at 401 E. Cherry Street is open Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM while school is in session, and we’re glad to walk you through every step.
