K.I.D. StoryWalk

Come and enjoy K.I.D.'s StoryWalk®!

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to signs, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the path, you're directed to the next page in the story.

StoryWalks® have been installed in 50 states and 12 countries including, Germany, Canada, England, Bermuda, Russia, Malaysia, Pakistan and South Korea! They are always received with appreciation.

StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Every week, two new books are put up for enjoyment. We're Going on a Bear Hunt starts on the southeast side of K.I.D. and Bear Feels Sick starts on the Northeast side of K.I.D. If you are looking for an outdoor activity for your evening or weekend, consider coming and enjoying a great story!
